He goes back on his 4th round of Chemo on Saturday 29 December, 2012,
after being off of his Chemo Drug: Melphalan for the last 10 days,
It's 10 days on and then 10 days on, for the next 6 months.

His last blood test 9 days ago show He doing fine with the Drugs.

We're going to try and stop the drug: Tamoxife, when He runs in a few days.
He's got 9 pills and before we halt that., so that's good, less drugs in his system.

Stopping the 2.5 mg. of Prednisone
on the 19th of JAN, 2013.

The best news, No current Cancer Growth.
We're planing on quitting the Chemo:
Melphala in 6 months.

Tico's first visit to Maine, chasing a German Shepard

Here's a YouTube Video of Tico's first visit to Maine.
He was chasing a German Shepard who belonged to Family.
Notice his Puppy High Voice.
This was the first time we had ever seen him interact like this with Big Dogs.
Both Videos below were recorded on 25 December, 2004 in South Thomaston, ME
(Enjoy)

Tico's Health Update:

The Good News: He's down to one Cancer Growth just under his lip next to his Canine.

Tico is happy, still chasing balls, though not so interested in walks beyond a House or two.
We normally carry him down to the end of the block where his favorite Trees are located.

Tico enjoys flying, This was from SFO to PHL.
                                                         (21 December, 2004)

Tico runs to Mark on his first trip to the Snow!

Tico is near the end of one of the Chemo drugs, On an empty stomach we give him, Melphalan,
Then He gets a 10 day rest.

He then gets Food and his nightly dose of Tamoxife,
along with a 5mg dose of Prednisone every other day.
This regiment will continue for the time being.

My biggest concern at this time are the Charlie Horse pain He gets in his left Paw/Leg
after laying without moving from his favorite spot next to the Heater.
The Pain doesn't last long, but He yelps out.
We've been giving him 1/8 of a Pain Pill called Tramadol
(Tablet cut up in 8 pieces).
But He can smell it, and won't readily eat/take it.
So, We're getting another drug in liquid form that we can give him a minute amount.

Keep us in your Prayers and Thoughts.

along with another double dose of Prednison.

He's doing well, and still chasing balls, still get's excited about taking a walk,
or coming home after being out.

Tico came into our lives in April 2004

We came across Tico on a trip to Yosemite National Park,
Mark's nephew was visiting from Maine,
and we thought He'd enjoy  a trip to Yosemite.

We stayed over night in nearby Oakhurst, CA.
Mark and I took a stroll of what was nearby our Motor Lodge.
There was Tico as a 6 weeks old Puppy.
Instantly We were in love!

We had been looking for a dog.
We thought about it over night.
Decided to to do it and buy him.
Tico was our choice for the dog in our family.
The first dog I had in my adult life.

He's made me a better Man.
He made Mark and I a family.
He puts a smile on everyone He encounters face to face and online.

The current news for Tico.

He's Currently fighting Cancer.
I'll give you more details as we go along.
He starts Chemo and other drugs in a few days.
He's back on Prednisone,
The Vet Bill so far come close to $3,000,
We're in need of financial assistance, your version of prayers and white light.
